I really like how things are opening up since your return! Mala and the incoming Gupta family... plus the introduction of Emma Covington (I assume that's coming soon) -- it's all some fresh energy for T&C! I sense a triangle emerging among Louise, Daniel, and Mala, which could prove interesting. I'm not sure Louise is open to another romance, even if she should be. Her focus is so squarely on the farm right now. I also don't know if anyone is right or wrong with regards to what's going on at the farm. Just because Peter left part-ownership to Martha and Steven doesn't mean they need to quit their actual jobs to work on the farm forever -- but Louise also shouldn't be pulling all the weight herself. I totally get both sides of the debate.

You did a nice job of depicting Sarah Lynn's grief and that horrible feeling of inertia when you've suffered something devastating like that. She's lucky to have family surrounding her and motivating her. I hope that she's able to dig herself out of this eventually, but it isn't going to be easy.

The biggest surprise was that Lynn and Elijah broke up! Did not expect that at all. Will Elijah be departing the series for college? It doesn't necessarily feel like there's a lot left for him at the moment, though that could change at any second. Their friends-with-benefits dynamic is pretty interesting, though.

Finally caught up after a long week at work, including having to work today!

Poor Sarah, I just feel so bad for her. 6 months later and she still can’t drag herself out of her bedroom. I liked how she snapped at Esther; she knows she needs to move on but these things take time. Still super curious to know how her depression plays out.

Also loving how Peters death is diving the family; saw it last episode with Louise and Martha and now with Louise and Steven. I almost wonder if there will be some kind of take over attempt if Steven and Martha gang up on Louise. In any event, it is super dramatic. I love the family dynamics going on.

Love the younger crew too and seeing their new relationship status’. I mean exes who are best friends but still having sex can only get super complicated right? Haha curious to see what happens when they all head to college, who leaves who stays etc.

Also curious to see if Emma becomes a bigger part of the series. This marriage could be juicy!

Even though, I didn't want to be gone "offline" for six months. It does give the series a freshness, which is somewhat needed since November of last year. You might be right about a triangle forming between Daniel, Louise, and Mala shortly. Louise does need to get out of her way. In all honesty, I don't think she wants her sister and cousin to quit their jobs and wear overalls and boots to work on the farm with her. I think it's more they could at least put in some input now and then and maybe collect an egg. She's not asking for anything heavy of them for them to do.

For Sarah Lynn, it is the first person she lost who was her entire world. She's never been alone in her entire adult life, so she is in mourning heavily. And her coming around to be the loving housewife and matriarch of her family; will take time, and it will be a challenge, but Sarah Lynn Saunders is a strong woman.

The biggest surprise was that Lynn and Elijah broke up! Did not expect that at all. Will Elijah be departing the series for college? The teens will be going through young adulthood so I know some life-changing things had to happen such as a breakup. In my opinion Lynn and Elijah never were going to be a love story for the ages. Elijah is going to remain on the canvas he and Tanner will be going to Sampson in the fall where a few things lie ahead for him.

Actually it's only been two months since Peter's death. However, it is still unhealthy to be in your bedroom for that long. I knew I wanted her to snap at someone. Because Sarah Lynn is one of the most gentle women on the canvas so I knew it was going to show how sad she is. You'll see how her depression will play out for sure.

I'm not sure about a takeover, but his death has a deep effect on the family and the farm. I love writing for the Saunders family, so it is great to play them knowing their relationship dynamics.

Like I told Michael, in my opinion, Elijah & Lynn weren't going to be a love story for the ages, but you're right about friends having sex is super complicated.

Emma will be on the canvas soon, and knowing her, she will enter into Radcliffe into some dramatic fashion.
