Shauna's pregnancy is confirmed by Dr. Jamison.
Joel's visit with Eleanor doesn't go as expected.
Tension rises between Steven and Jacques.

I am glad that Shauna got confirmation that she's pregnant, which we already knew, but it will still be interesting how she handles this. She was devastated when she miscarried so I can't imagine that she will terminate the pregnancy, but she will have to tell Max the truth because he will realize that the child is not his, unless she tries to lie to everyone, but I suspect that everyone involve will realize the truth. I still think Daniel will be blamed for this since his actions set all of this into motion.

I wasn't expecting Joe to have a long-lost child, but I guess it makes sense. Is Skye going to be the start of a new character that will be around for awhile? or is this just a flash in the pan?

I get that Steven is giving Jacques warning about Courtney, but I agree with Jacques - he is finally married to Emma, which is what he has wanted for a very long time, I have a hard time believing he'd throw that away for Courtney.

I just wanted to have those scenes so not only Shauna gets confirmation for her peace of mind but also gets to see where her frame of mind is, as, like you said, her previous miscarriage did devastate her, and now she's pregnant again though through her one-night stand with Antoine, which will definitely affect things between Max and her after they had sorted things out after the argument that led up to that night.

Surprise! Yeah, I've been planning it for a while now. So, I'm glad I'm finally delving into it, and we'll get to know more about Skye in the upcoming episode as well as Eleanor too. And Skye will be a permanent fixture, as she perhaps will be surrounded by a new young adult scene within the new year.

I think Steven is coming from a place not wanting Courtney to be taken advantage of by Jacques since, in a way, he's using her for his own agenda. Though let's not forget that Jacques does have a womanizing past and was cheating on Emma when they were engaged the first time.
