A lot of fallout from how the family is reacting to Lenny's cancer diagnosis. Everyone is handling in their own unique way, but I really love how Sarah Lynn was there for Lou, Sean and Lenny. She really is the backbone and heart of the family, so I'm glad she can be there, and share her wisdom, with everyone right now. The most visibly upset is Tanner, which makes sense since it is her twin that is battling the illness now. It's nice that she's leaning on Presley, but I can't help but wonder if she will long for Tommy's support more. I also really loved how Brynn asked Elijah if he was tempted to drink - it would make sense if this did make him want to have a drink or fall off the wagon. I love that you're playing all of these smaller beats.
This was a great way to remind everyone of the secret that Steven and Esther are keeping. There is so much secrecy with Emma right now, from her paternity to how she got in the car accident; I am curious as to how this will all come out because on soaps every secret has to come out eventually. And after everything Steven has sort of put Courtney through lately with working with Daniel and her friendship with Jacques, I can't wait to see her reaction to the fact that he has known about this secret for years.
Good episode - a lot going on right now!
