Mae apologizes to Gus for their turbulent Christmas.
Tension remains between Daniel and Courtney.
Martha receives an unwanted surprise.

I'd love to say I was surprise to see Murray back in town but I knew that when he popped up at the festival, we would be seeing more of him. I am so curious to know if he will want to be a part of SJ's life or even try to get back with Martha. I am loving that he is back because she has been sort of floating as a support character for a long time, it's nice to see her get a story and some more air time.

Jacques has a LOT of nerve having Deirdre coming to his room while Emma was in the other room. I mean, Emma easily could have heard her mother and discovered what is going on. That being said, I do love how Deirdre is quickly turning on Jacques now that she is done with him. I am curious to see what, if anything, Daniel can bring up on Jacques, although I suspect there is something as it will be the next phase of this storyline. The biggest secret is still lingering too - that Deirdre arranged the car accident. Daniel, just like his relationship with Tommy, needs to realize that it is going to take a lot of time for everyone to forgive him; he needs to show it via actions not just his words.

And thank goodness Lenny agreed to go to the doctor - I am curious as to what is wrong with her, because I am thinking it is something serious.

Good episode - a lot of fun stuff happening right now

Only time will tell about Murray's true motive, but for now, he wants to see his son. And this will give Martha more to do, as she has been on the backburner lately. But 2024 will be a big year for her as well as the rest of the Saunders clan.

To be fair, the scene was to showcase what type of sleaze Jacques can be by inviting his lover's mother into their hotel suite to make sure Emma is in there. I think in a lot of ways, Daniel and Deirdre are very similar when it comes to parenting, but at least Daniel hadn't arranged for someone to be seriously physically hurt or, worse, dead. I think they both like to be in control, but at the end of the day, it might cost them more than they think.

And thank goodness Lenny agreed to go to the doctor - I am curious as to what is wrong with her, because I am thinking it is something serious.

We'll find out what's going on with Lenny in February. And this will bring her family and Elijah together.
