I kinda figured that Shauna had a miscarriage, but this episode was confirmation for it. The pain of losing a child will last for Shauna & Max for sometime, I am sure. Maybe they, together with Tricia & Sean, could start a support group since losing children seems to be in the air right now. I am glad that Max is, seemingly, on the bend though because he had some serious injuries. I still can't wait for Daniel to have a moment to himself to reflect on his role in all of this - had he not been drugging Jordan, she wouldn't have left with Jeremy, and she wouldn't have been out on in the country. The entire accident is on Daniel's hands.
And is this a possible romance for Mae with Gus? It was pretty random but it would be nice for Mae to have that type of companionship in her life. Curious to see where this goes. And it was nice to have Martha comfort Antoine , who clearly still has feelings for Shauna. Even though she is married to another man and was going to have his baby, he can't shake her. Maybe this will push Shauna back towards Antoine if she and Max struggle with the miscarriage.
I am curious to see if Daniel will continue to be able to drug/gaslight Jordan now that she's in the mental ward, or if Samuel will be the one to treat her, because it would be more difficult for Daniel to get to Samuel with anything, I would assume. But at least he is helping Thora & Ernest with the bill - that's the least he could do!
