Well Toussaint talks a good game and he is trying to get out of this situation but it seems like Daniel is always one or two steps ahead of him. He's going to have to make a decision about his own future if he really wants to help Jordan, or someone will have to clue into what is going on. I, almost, thought for a moment that Tommy was going to see the doctor at the mansion and get more suspicious but that didn't happen. Gabriella is really turning into a great ally for Daniel in this scheme; I am just so curious to see how this will all unravel and who will be left in the crossfire when it does.
It was cute how both Tanner and Tommy were sharing their experiences with their friends. Tommy might still be in love with Tanner, but he continues to have a messed up way of showing it. Like, why are you sleeping with Jordan if you are trying to get Tanner back? His lack of judgement here makes it hard to root for him to find his way back to Tanner, which I am assuming will happen at some point. In the meantime, we can continue to get the cuteness of the Tanner/Presley coupling.
I'm not sure what to make of Mala's reaction to the engagement; she came across, almost, indifferent. We haven't really seen any lingering feelings between the two (unlike Lou and Sean, where you can feel the underlying connection in every scene), so Im curious as to how this plays out. Of course, they will still need to support Aaliyah, who isn't taking the news well.
Lots going on right now!

Like Dallas, I thought Tommy might bump into Touissant and begin to put more pieces together! It's clear that Daniel can't count on the doctor blindly going along with this plan -- but it seems like Touissant is going to have to get clever if he wants out from under Daniel's oppression. It's kind of funny how Gabriella wants to be included in the scheming, LOL. It seems like Daniel is amping up his tactics now, but what he's failing to see is that he's causing harm to Jeremy that doesn't have to be caused! He's so territorial about keeping his grandson under his roof, but growing up with an absentee mother or one with severe mental health issues is not going to be good for the kid. I do hope Tommy figures this all out, as it seems like he is on the path to doing.
Was there some deeper meaning to Aaliyah's friend who she was consoling, or was that just to give more of a sense of community and texture at the school? I like how close Tanner and Aaliyah have gotten; it's probably pretty weird for them that they're going to be stepsisters, too, but how fun, as well. As Dallas points out, Mala did seem a bit... tense or uncertain about Jai's engagement and how to address it. Maybe it was just awkwardness more than anything, but I got the sense that she was tripping over her reaction a little bit.
Good episode!
