Max & Shauna telling Mae about the pregnancy was cute. I'm glad that Antoine also found out; I did sense a twinge of jealousy on his end, but he mostly covered it up by thinking he didn't realize that Shauna was ready to have a family yet. Curious to see how this pregnancy unfolds.
I'm surprised no one else asked Lou if she has thought that marrying Jai was a good idea. I mean this proposal did come out of no where and it's not like they have been dating that long, but it was nice to see the family so supportive, especially the twins because we know how they reacted when their father announced his marriage plans lol.
Daniel continues to play a wicked game. I do wonder if the doctor will end up being a foiler in all of this because he clearly hates hurting Jordan, and the meds are clearly impacting her to believe she isn't worthy of love. I hope Tommy clues in to more of what's going on before this gets any further out of hand.
Good episode!

My favorite part of this episode was the Saunders women sharing in Louise's big news. It was nice that the twins are being supportive of their mother (boy, what a contrast to how they've acted about their father's marriage...), and I liked Martha clocking that something was up because Louise was being too nice/too happy. The whole exchange about the complicated relationships and Samuel being Louise's stepson while dating her sister (and the Maury reference) was funny. It all just had such a nice vibe! And you managed to touch on all six Saunders women in the course of the scenes. Very nice downbeat soap!
Of course, the warm feelings of that scene served as a fakeout for how things would go for Jai. Since you'd set up Aaliyah's attitude, her reaction didn't surprise me, but I was hoping anyway that she'd have a more reasoned response and express her feelings directly. But she's acting out of pure emotion in the immediate aftermath. I do hope she'll come around eventually, but it seems her parents' continued closeness and functional co-parenting relationship has given her false hope.
I guess it's good that Dr. Touissant is having an attack of conscience, but he's still doing what Daniel is forcing him to do -- so this is all on him when it goes truly dark. Poor Jordan. The way she's talking about herself is so sad and so far away from the girl who had such bravado back in high school. Granted, she was overcompensating for her low self-esteem and bad home situation back then, but still. I have a feeling this IS going to get much worse before it can get better.
Oh, and Shauna and Max sharing the news with Mae was lovely. Antoine did a good job being respectful and appropriate. I wonder if this is really it as far as his feelings for Shauna, or if this is just something he's telling himself to try and turn off his emotions?
