I was able to get the Wi-Fi to work on my flight back from Europe and used the time to catch up on my webseries reading!
I love that you did a Halloween episode. Halloween always makes me think of how you found Footprints several years ago, and now it’s a big night in Radcliffe, too. “Seeing” the characters in their costumes is always fun, but even more than that, it’s a milestone date in a few storylines. It was nice of Elijah’s friends to commemorate his one year of sobriety with a gathering, and I had forgotten it was almost a year since Emma and Will first slept together! I have to admit that, when Jacques walked in there, I thought he might spill the beans about Emma’s parentage to get her into a weakened state — but now I bet he is going to save that bullet for when he most needs it. It’ll certainly allow him to put the screws to Deirdre should he need to do so.
Jordan being “haunted” was very fitting for a Halloween episode, too. That Gabriella is wicked! It was funny to give Daniel and his mother a little scene of comparing their notes (and keeping their respective secrets) — I was just thinking how fitting it is that they are both interfering in their children’s lives, and presuming to know what’s best, in separate storylines. Pretty obvious where Daniel got it from…
I’m not sure that Tanner is as over Tommy, or as unbothered by him sleeping with Jordan, as she professes. But her advice to him about being honest with Jordan surprised me — it shows that she really does want Tommy to be his best self and even will look out for Jordan in her own way.
Oh, and did I detect more than a Friendly (pun intended) chemistry between Thora and Joel…?
Good episodes! I’m glad to be caught up.
