I am completely stunned by how adult the convo between Sean and Tricia was! They could actually speak to one another respectfully and civilly to get to a, seemingly, good place. We will see how long this lasts but they do have to think about their child. I did love how Sean dropped that the twins know about the baby and they aren't thrilled by the idea of being sisters at this stage of their life. It would be really juicy if one of the twins accidently caused Tricia to have a miscarriage. I'm curious to see how long this smoothing over lasts OR if Sean becomes jealous of Tricia's friendship with Samuel. Lot's of potential with this couple.
So Deirdre is staying in town for a longer period of time? That makes me happy because she's such a battle-axe! I can see her clashing with almost every member of the family, including Daniel, who is used to be in charge. This could really shake up the dynamics of the family moving forward. I am not sure how or what they will do to get Emma away from Will but I can see if spiraling out of control.
It was nice to see Thora interact with Jeremy because we haven't seen that too often just yet. I had forgotten that Ernest was so opposed everything going on with Jordan, so that was a good refresher. I can only imagine what he is going to do with Tommy now that he knows the truth. This is so messy, and it will only get messier if and when Jordan decides to stop cleaning the ice at the rink in Kings Bay!
Good episode! Dallas

Good episode! The tension between Thora and Ernest was quite gripping. It's crazy that he was so able to cut his daughter of his life and put both her and his grandchild essentially out of his mind. I'm glad Thora found her voice and stood up to him, somewhat. But I fear what Ernest might do now. Tommy really is exhibiting some maturity in coming around to the idea of a baptism and wanting Jeremy to be connected to his mother's side of the family.
Speaking of maturity, Sean and Tricia sure took me by surprise. This was the first time in a long time that I've seen evidence of them being able to communicate effectively. It's like they both tend to dig in their heels so much that neither wants to "lose." I also thought it was telling that Sean -- who was in an open marriage previously -- asked if Tricia kissing Samuel meant she didn't want to be in their marriage. It makes me think that his push to open things up with Louise really was an indication that he was over their marriage long before he actually left it, if that's how he views attraction to someone besides your spouse.
That showdown between Daniel and Deirdre was pretty juicy. It's fun seeing him put back on his heels a little, since he's so often the one giving orders and orchestrating exactly how things will go. Deirdre might be the one person who can really, truly put him in a position of less power. He's also very willing to believe that, just like most of Emma's entanglements, this thing with Will is a fling that isn't worth fretting over. That does seem to be her pattern, but it could be a cavalier stance to take when there could be a lot on the line...
