On This Episode Of Town and Country
Deirdre leaves for New York City but not before giving some home truths.
Tommy confides in his friends about his heartbreak.
Jai and Louise take the next step in their relationship.

Look at Lou getting some d! It’s about time, IMO. I’m glad that she took that step with Jai, although I do wonder what will happen with them now that Mala and Daniel are on the rocks. Plus we know that Lou and Sean also have a connection. It’s a fun love game with many players and really have no idea who will end up with who at this point. I do suspect that it will be more difficult for Mala to only be friends with Daniel since they work together but we will see.

Deirdre giving everyone some “advice” was classic too. I can’t wait for the Max/Courtney show down since Shauna spilled that Court approached her at the pool. I love the internal family drama that it will cause! I also hope that Emma and Will get even closer because that will surely create more drama for the family since they already don’t want her to go into business with him. It’s setting up for some fireworks that’s for sure!

I continue to enjoy the ripple effects of Jordan's pregnancy and how the news got out and spread. It's really touching so much of the canvas.

Deirdre departed in the way a true matriarch would: taking stock of all her family members' lives and giving her advice on how they should proceed, whether they asked or not. That was a nice way of tying the whole Covington clan together despite their current fissures. I liked Shauna snapping at Courtney and then Max getting irritated at his sister -- there's so much tension just barely below the surface right now. And I appreciated that, for all her strong opinions (and her shade at Jordan), Deirdre emphasized that Tommy's priority needs to be baby Jeremy.

I can't say I'm totally surprised about Mala ending things with Daniel, but it does show how firmly she will stand in her convictions. And of course Daniel is once again single just as Louise has sealed the deal with Jai. I was cheering a little when she finally gave herself over to him and let herself enjoy being with a man after all this time. Good for her! Sean has more than moved on, so it's beyond time for Louise to do the same.

You have so much juicy stuff going on right now!

I thought of you when I decided for Louise to finally have sex after three years. I know you've been waiting for it to happen. And like you said, this throws a wrench into the other connections including their former spouses and Tricia as well. Stay Turned to see how this develops. 😉

Before Deirdre exited the canvas, I knew I had to get her to "encourage" to get her loved ones to get there you know what together. The siblings usually have gotten along but since Max decided to come work for the family company and with Courtney never caring for Shauna since the beginning this should be an interesting discussion. Will and Emma getting closer definitely will be causing drama too.

Glad you're noticing the fallout of Jordan's Pregnancy still being felt upon the canvas. A secret like this coming out should have a strong effect for a long time now.

I was inspired by The Quartermaines from GH for the scene with the Covington's with Deirdre addressing them all about their issues before she left town. Deep down, she wants better for her children, grandchildren, and now great-grandson. Courtney and Max's relationship has been affected a bit since the latter started working for the company. So that's probably going to add fuel to their already fractured sibling ship.

Mala is someone who doesn't take well to people lying to her for reasons we have yet to seen, and like I told Dallas above this would make the pentagon with the exes and currents and Tricia quite heated.
