Good episode full of interesting interactions!
As much as Tricia works my nerves, she *is* being a pretty good friend to Jordan right now, giving her some tough love but still supporting her. And it was helpful to get that background on Tricia's own family life and upbringing. It puts some of her behavior and attitudes into context. And as much of an absolute brat as Emma is, she's pretty funny. She has a very 'fish out of water' thing going on in Radcliffe, which feels different for the series and is a nice X-factor to shake things up. I don't think either of them wants to admit it yet, but she and Will have some pretty clear chemistry, too. I liked Will's observation about someone with all Emma's advantages not really being able to understand the struggles in his life -- and yet, the two of them *can* relate on some basic level about feeling unappreciated and misunderstood by their families.
Shauna's reaction to Max deciding to take the job at Covington was surprising, since she's been so eager to get into that world herself, but I can see that she's looking out for her husband and his passion... even though Max might not view it that way. Interesting conflict for a married couple who have been pretty stable and who communicate well, especially considering this is a soap!
I'm still not convinced that Jai's motives about coming to town are quite as pure as he's saying right now, but we'll see.
