It was nice for Tricia to open up to Samuel about her past and her mother's relationship. I suspected that her mother was in an abusive relationship but we are seeing a different side to Tricia from her revealing all of this. It is also helps explain why she is so hard; she has this front up so she isn't hurt anymore. I do wonder why she feels so compelled to tell Samuel, a virtual stranger, about this instead of Sean. To me, it is another sign that this pending marriage is doomed.
I also love that Shauna finally opened up to someone about what happened to her. It makes total sense that she is pissed off and angry about what happened. I love that Antoine is there for her, but sort of like Tricia/Samuel, I wish Shauna had confided in Max about this. To me, this still shows that there is a connection between Shauna and her former friend with benefit.
I can't blame Tommy for thinking about Jordan; a guy his age would be thinking about sex all of the time, and Jordan is the one that is, sort of, presenting herself to him while Tanner is keeping her legs closed. I love his dilemma because its not like he is a bad person, he just wanting what any guy his age wants. It feels very true.
Good episode! Dallas

Good episode, Bre!
There were some really interesting character shadings in this episode. I love that you're really playing the trauma of what Shauna went through. So often in soaps, characters seem overly conditioned to situations like this and just move along once it's over. She's showing both fragility and strength, which feels incredibly realistic. And her whole dynamic with Antoine is pretty nuanced at this point. I also really appreciated getting to see Tricia in a different light. It's intriguing that she felt comfortable opening up to Samuel about her mother's situation, but we haven't seen her get into it with Sean in that way. Hmmm...
I also think you're doing a nice job of walking a very fine line with Tommy. He has natural urges and expectations but isn't being a dick about them -- but there's no "good" answer here, which is great drama.
I can't believe you're nearly to 100 episodes. What an exciting accomplishment!
