I am really excited by this college adventure you have going on. It reminds of Saved By the Bell the College years or even 90210. There is so much possibility for story here! I loved the entry of Aaliyah being Tanner's roommate; on the set up, I had a hunch it was going to be Jordan because there is already tension there but this is also fun. By the way, is Jordan attending the college?
I still love the pull between Sean and Lou, there's so much history there that even though they are divorced they will always be close. I am excited for what is in story leading up to the wedding to with him and Tricia.
I do feel bad for Will; it's not his fault that Jerome was blackmailing him for money. If anything, he kept quiet because he was trying to protect his family. That being said, I get why Antoine is protective of Mae and why Mae feels like she can't trust him. Something will have to give with this family, though.
Good episode, you have a lot going on right now! Dallas

I love how you made a big event out of the kids moving onto campus! It really makes Sampson feel like a big new setting and not just an afterthought, which is how college too often feels on soaps. I knew Aaliyah would eventually intersect with this crew, but it's nice that you set it up -- and how different she might be from the twins in particular -- right away. There's a lot to play here! I'm really excited for the college storylines and how they'll continue to intersect with the rest of the community. And it felt very T&C to have Louise also reflecting on her own time at Sampson. That's such a real-life moment! I know I've said it before, but that stuff is where T&C shines. I do think this wedding in Hawaii might turn into a disaster, but I mean, it's a soap. Same with the whole thing that Martha and Steven are now investigating. You have this entire world that you've envisioned, so to see characters actively interacting with the past and its mysteries is so fun. I'm really, really curious as to how this will shake out. Will does deserve the treatment that Mae is giving him, and she's not being unreasonable, but I'm also rooting for him to get back on everyone's good side. He can't change the past, but he can change how he acts in the present. Great ep! Looking forward to more.
