Just got caught up on the last two eps! Poor Tommy. That really sucks and is so unreasonable of Pepperdine. What happened certainly wasn't his fault, or even his family's! I did love Courtney's jab about Pepperdine letting in Schwarzenegger's illegitimate kid, though. I can also tell that Shauna feels responsible, which is absurd but also understandable. It's great that she has Max there as such a pillar of support, as she is clearly struggling. Maybe it would do her well to have some sessions with Samuel, too. I really liked how Louise and Martha were forceful in getting Samuel to go see Sarah Lynn and talk her into continuing therapy. She needs people looking out for her during this time, and for her daughters to come together like that means a lot. I'm not sure Sarah Lynn is fully ready to commit to working through her grief, but it's a start. And it was awfully mature of Louise to offer Sean the manager job! I think she knows that the good of the farm trumps her own potential discomfort. Aaliyah definitely seems like a firecracker, as Daniel pointed out. I can really see her mixing it up with the younger crowd. Will they be living on campus at Sampson, or commuting? Also, Mala sure was forward in asking if her daughter is still a virgin! Yikes! One last bit I really enjoyed was how Sarah Lynn was able to relate her own past troubles fitting in to what Will is feeling now. That was such a good use of a matriarch character, even as she's dealing with her own struggles.
