It’s a good thing that Jerome seems short sighted throughout this entire scenario. It gives everyone more time to collect themselves and get help for Shauna. Although, he is already threatening Shauna’s life so he may be more of a loose canon than he lets on. Will is definitely going to be on the outskirts when this thing is over. It’ll be nice to see the dynamic between Antoine/Shauna/Max with this near-death experience of sorts. I think there’s a lot more story for these three.

Also loved that you were able to get basically the entire cast into this one. With everyone crowding in one place you get a lot of different reactions and issues bubbling up. Like Jordan and Tanner; Will and Antoine, etc.

Yikes! Seems like a lot happened in this episode with details of Shauna’s kidnapping coming out. I wasn’t expecting the Will/Jerome connection to come out so soon but I can’t say that I’m shocked by Max’s response. I’m hoping we see more of Mae’s reaction too since the main drama was between Max and Will.

Of course Jerome wants money and a lot of it. He is lucky that Shauna married into money or he’d be screwed. I suspect saving Shauna will not go as planned and there will be plenty of drama.

I’m also wondering what Jordan’s motives are ... she didn’t take the snack bag to the group just to be nice; that’s not in her wheel house 😂.

Good episode. You’ve done a good job heightening the tension and the drama with the kidnapping!

Whoa! Big episode! Here are some random, stream-of-consciousness thoughts I had as I read...

Cassie is such a piece of s**t! She can't even be bothered to show up when her daughter has been kidnapped?!

I really love the sense of community that comes through with events like this. Everyone circling the wagons at the Waterfall Bar is great. And while she was being manipulative, it WAS nice of Jordan to bring the food.

As difficult as he can be, I appreciate how Daniel can step up and be a real father when it's needed. Makes him more multidimensional.

Jerome definitely seems like a loose cannon! And now we know what happened. I get why he's blaming Will -- because he's nuts and upset -- but it kinda sounds like the problem came from Jerome, if it was his stuff that Will was selling that got the guard sick.

I have a bad feeling about the money drop and/or rescue attempt. There are so many ways this could go sideways! Poor Shauna.

Very eager to see how this plays out!

You're right about Will possibly being on the outskirts of his family. Jerome to me isn't really thinking but he has had some sort of plan to do this when he didn't get his ten-thousand dollars. The Antoine/Shauna/Max dynamic is something will go forward throughout the years (I hope).

I didn't want the kidnapping story to be the only focus. And I knew it was important to feature other stories with the characters that were at the bar. Instead of them just sitting around doing nothing.

My main objection in this episode was to have a lot to happen so it seems I achieved my goal. I figured it was no point in keeping the connection between Will/Jerome for that long since we already knew Jerome spearheaded the kidnapping. I think the aftermath is going to have importance with the Jackson/Covington families. Mae's reaction will be showcased soon.

That is the reason why Jerome went after Shauna instead of Mae regarding the money. It's a soap Michael nothing will go as planned.

Jordan is definitely scheming regarding her pursuit of Tommy. In the next episode you'll see it as she and Tommy has a close moment.

Yeah! Cassie is a mess! She is a very selfish person who will always look out for herself./

One thing about Radcliffe I always saw it's a community who look after their own (for the most part) Jordan knew it would be suspicious if she came to the bar despite not really knowing everyone there to come empty-handed. 😃

I think Daniel can be a good father when his children need him. His major concern has always been his family but he often controls them when they're doing something he thinks is below them. I wanted to show Daniel can be a good father when his kids need him the most emotionally.

Jerome is crazy as hell and is a bit of a loose cannon! Although, in his mind he blames Will more than the guard. You'll see how far he gets in the next episode.

The ramifications of the kidnapping will impact Shauna and her inner circle time moving forward.
