Whoa, I was not expecting that ending to happen! The last we heard of Will he was going to remain in jail for some time. It'll be interesting to hear how this all came to be. Based on the episode and the discussing of Cassie, I had assumed she was going to show up on Mae's door. This will surely create some storyline for her!
I am still curious to see how Lynn and Tanner react to finding out that Elijah is working at the coffee shop with Tricia. The girls have every right to be upset with Tricia for relationship with Sean, so this won't end well. I also like how Sean seemingly thinks that having one conversation with Tricia will "solve" everything. I like that Louise is more skeptical (rightfully so).
I enjoyed Peter being snarky about Daniel sending his well wishes. They have never gotten along so it makes sense that Peter would think something else is going on. Their battle, however, might be more complicated now that Peter has had health issues.
Great read! Dallas

Whoa, Will is out of prison!!! Like Dallas, I totally wasn't expecting that. You've done a nice job setting up Mae's expectations and disappointments. I felt so bad for her when she was trying to reach Cassie, all the while knowing that her daughter would only respond when it was convenient for her -- such a one-sided relationship. But I'm glad she had Antoine there for her.
There were some good laughs in this one, too. Like Peter questioning whether Daniel's gift should be tested for poison, or Tricia and Courtney being horrified that Elijah didn't know who Doogie Howser was. It was nice in general to get more story played from Elijah's POV; he's so often more of an accessory to the twins or Tommy, so I like that you've given him his own little thing going on. I can totally see both twins reacting badly to finding out that he's working for Tricia, although it's a ridiculous thing to blame him for. He's a teenager with limited job options, and he's being responsible by trying to earn his own money.
Oh, and I liked Louise telling Sean that she doesn't need or want Tricia's apology. That rivalry continues to be a lot of fun because everyone's allowed to be kind of nasty and yet not in the wrong!
It was sweet to take some time and see Peter settling back in at home with his family. The moment between him and Steven was sweet; we don't see much of them one-on-one, but it makes sense that Peter is as much a father figure as Steven's ever known.
Glad to be caught up and looking forward to more!
