Antoine has a reality check.
Shauna asks Courtney to be a Bridesmaid.
Tricia gets envious.

Oh Tricia! It was enviable that she was still going to be jealous of Seans connection to Louise and the girls but she is coming across really immature. I love that Louise texted that dinner would be her treat ... salt in Tricia’s wound haha. She seems like a loose cannon.

So Nichelle is leaving town ... damn! I’m glad she called Antoine out for clearly having feelings for Shauna still, cause it’s clear to everyone. Is this the last we will see of her?

And it was a sweet scene with Court and Shauna getting to one another better and Court agreeing to the bridesmaid. The wedding continues to take shape!

Awww, Nichelle is leaving! I really can't blame her for taking this opportunity and maintaining her dignity. She really laid it out for Antoine. I wonder if this will spur him to make some moves and take stock of what he wants in life. Pretty cruel awakening to have her state outright that she felt she was being used. I really came to like her, though I wish we'd gotten to meet that catfish-cooking roommate of hers!

I like how level-headed both Courtney and Shauna can be when it comes down to it. They're both really intelligent young women, and I like that although they're in relationships, they have other ambitions and other things going on. The TV soaps could take note!

Tricia is a great shot of adrenaline for the series. She's ruled by her emotions more than a lot of the other characters, which is great fuel for a soap. I suspect she's only going to continue to unravel. Can't wait, LOL!

Sean & Tricia weren't going to be happy for long, especially Tricia, who is starting to get her karma for sleeping with a married man. She will always be insecure and competitive when it comes to Sean's relationships with his twin daughters and ex-wife for twenty years. This storyline isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Originally, I had outlined Nichelle to stay a month or to longer, however, I would be tarnishing her dignity if she reconciled with Antoine. Yet. Nichelle had to say her peace about his feelings for Shauna. Nichelle, one day will be back in Radcliffe. Trust me.

Courtney and Shauna can be good friends if they put away their preconceived notions of the other, (Especially Court) The wedding should be fun.

I always knew Nichelle was going to get her happy ending by becoming a Civil Rights Attorney in D.C. yet, I didn't know it will be this soon. You're right about her leaving town in order to maintain her own dignity in this situation. Antoine needed to hear about getting his life together but we know in soaps characters don't listen until they bump their heads to learn their lesson for now. I thought about you when I wrote about the catfish catering dentist roommate. Well if you want to know her mechanic boyfriend will be moving in wither so they will be plenty of cooked dinners until her dental school loans our paid in full.

One thing when I initially came up with the characters of Courtney and Shauna were that despite their relationships, they would want their ambitions just as much as their men. Courtney is modeled after Heather Tom's Victoria Newman on Y&R and Shauna is from those old school vixen/on the make characters such as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald and Brooke Logan I haven't watched DAYS in a while but I know Ciara needs some aspirational focus in her life than to defend Ben too.
