I was nervous for Martha getting out there, but it seems like she nailed it! She's obviously a born performer -- once she was on that stage, she was good to go. It's nice to see you maintain that thread for her. I wonder if she'll continue to pursue a future in music (even by teaching or something) now that SJ has been born. It's clearly a passion for her.

I liked how you used the opening of JoJo's as a venue for so many different interactions. Sean sitting Elijah and Tommy down was kind of painful, in that it was so awkward, but it's actual engaged parenting from him. The twins' bitchy remarks about Tricia had me cracking up, though. I like that Courtney and Tricia seem to have a burgeoning friendship. It's always good to give characters different outlets for interaction, especially when they exist in separate story spheres.

Antoine makes a good point about Will. Him coming home won't necessarily be the end of the challenges; it'll just be a new phase of them. Mae is kind of looking at this whole thing with rose-colored glasses. Not that I can blame her, really, but she'd be wise to keep some of that guard up.

I have been waiting for someone, anyone, to tell Antoine that he still cares/loves Shauna! I love that Mae didn’t beat around the bush with it. Of course he gave a typical non-answer but it was clear that he does still care. Interesting point that he made about Will too, prison would change someone and that is something Mae will have to get used too.

I hope we see some more of Sean with Tommy and Elijah ... he didn’t seem very “protective father” with them. Lol he continues to be a disaster of a parent. I do love how the twins detest Tricia. It’s so fun.

Good for Martha for battling her nerves and sticking it out. After everything it could have been easy for her to say no to singing. Curious to see where this goes now.

Great way to tie in so many stories at JoJo’s! Really enjoyed these two eps

I am so proud of Martha for getting back out on stage to perform. It took a lot of courage for her to sing and managed to draw a small crowd staying for her to sing. In Episode 62 we'll find out if Martha wants to pursue music more or not?

Funny enough the talk wasn't suppose to be that painful nor awkward. however, as I wrote it those were the voice were saying in my head. Lynn's comments about Tricia was pretty funny. And Tricia and Courtney's budding friendship is refreshing yet surprising since I initially had it in my bible from three years ago that Tricia & Steven were supposed to be platonic friends.

I threw the scene with Antoine & Mae because I wanted something else happening out of the cafe's grand reopening. I think Antoine is warning Mae about Will but knowing Mae she thinks her love and support will break any demons her son has faced behind bars. So we'll see how it all comes together when Fall happens.

I figured that it was time for someone to call out for Antoine's love of Shauna. So I selected Mae to do it since she already knows it and wasn't going to suffer fools gladly about it either. Like I told Michael above, Mae is the type of woman who thinks with support, hope, and love her baby boy will get over what might've occurred behind bars.

Unfortunately, Sean didn't have a speech prepared and so he decided to wing it with his talk with Elijah and Tommy. In this week's episode you'll see him being a decent father for a change ... I promise. Lynn does not have time for her father's mistress turned girlfriend and has no problem saying so.

Martha is the type of person who eventually conquers her fears so her getting back on stage after a few years is a accomplishment for her. In the net episode you'll find out what Martha's plans when it comes to singing.
