Gosh, I know Sean wants to be a good dad, but he really keeps bungling things. To be fair, some of this was Tricia's fault -- she obviously wants to be accepted, but she has such a nasty attitude about the twins and especially about Louise. But Sean knew he should have talked to his daughters before committing to living with Tricia. I don't blame the girls for being thrown a little off-balance by the whole thing, but I do hope they'll come around, because it's best for everyone's health and sanity to try and make this work. Still, crappy position to put them in.
I liked seeing Max and Courtney support one another, and it was a nice change to see that between Antoine and Shauna, too. Also loved the two of them dancing with Mae. That was a sweet moment. I really felt Mae's heartache when the bad news about Will came in. I wasn't expecting things to go that way. It sadly does feel very realistic in the current political and criminal justice climate, though.
Good episode! Nice to see things chugging right along.
