Will coming back might be a great divide for Mae and Shauna. So far on the series they’ve been supportive and loving to each other, so it was interesting to see them on opposite sides of this dynamic. I’m curious to see how this plays out.
Poor Louise, thinking that Tricia is only here temporary only for Sean to ask her to move in. I am questioning Sean’s instincts as a parent ... he knows the twins are still struggling with the affair and divorce yet he jumps right into living with Tricia, lol. They will not be happy when they find out.
These scenes with fun against the younger crew having fun by the pool and Tanner & Tommy connecting!
Good read!

All caught up! Got to spend some major time in Radcliffe today. It's nice to see things moving right along. Tricia's arrival really shakes up a bunch of dynamics. It paints Sean in less of a sleazy light, for one -- this isn't just some woman he's sneaking off to make phone calls to, but an actual human being with whom he clearly has a connection. I thought her attitude about Louise was pretty crappy, given Tricia's role in the ending of that marriage, but I also think it was a marriage with flaws that would've destroyed it whether or not Tricia herself was there. Like Dallas said, I can't imagine the twins are gong to take this well, but Sean shouldn't put his life on hold forever... and he also hasn't exhibited great judgment with regards to putting other people's feelings ahead of his own. I can only imagine how Peter and Sarah Lynn will react to this.
It was nice to see another tentative moment of connection between Louise and Martha, though. For as much as they don't get along, that wall between them is pretty flimsy at times. It's almost as if they both want to break it down but each is afraid of being rejected or looking foolish. Which I guess is how Louise conducts a lot of her relationships, and actually might be what happened with Martha and that no-good babydaddy of hers, too.
Tommy is honestly a lot less of a jerk than I thought he'd turn out to be. His history is a good and believable obstacle for him and Tanner, but he's pretty reasonable and comes off rather genuine. I wonder if we'll wind up seeing him in another light, though. I do like how nicely he's folded in with the other teens, who are a lot more middle-class and "small-town" than he is.
I totally get why Shauna had that sort of reaction to finding out about Will (and about Mae not having told her personally). Still, what is Mae supposed to do?! She's truly caught between a rock and a hard place.
I enjoyed the chemistry between Antoine and Nichelle, and again, I wound up kind of feeling bad for Nichelle. She seems rather genuine and no-nonsense, and it sucks if Antoine is using her to needle Shauna.
Good episodes! There's lot of character-based drama going on, and the community continues to feel fleshed-out and real.
