It was nice for Shauna and Max to both have sounding boards within regards to their relationship and the current status. To be honest, I agreed with Courtney and her telling Max that Shauna being with Antoine before they were together shouldn’t be an issue; everyone has some kind of romantic past. It was nice that they seemingly moved beyond this quickly. I’m curious to see Antoine‘s reaction to the fact that they are back together since he clearly revealed this on purpose.
Tommy and Tanner’s interaction was interesting. It seems like Tanner is interested in Tommy but is too insecure to do anything about it. We don’t truly know where Tommy’s head space is, other than focusing on the drivers test. I thought Lenny & Elijah’s scene was cute. I like the younger couple on the show, it’s a nice balance.
Good episode!

All caught up now that things have calmed down a bit in my life! It was fun to have two episodes to run through in one sitting.
The Max/Shauna/Antoine story took center stage in these two episodes, and I liked how you maneuvered through the turns. It felt very realistic that Max would take umbrage at Antoine's bragging -- and you did a good job of showing how it was his pride and insecurity causing him to react. Courtney gave him great sisterly advice. Meanwhile, Shauna was totally in the right to let Antoine have it; he's coming off like a real jerk of late. It was nice to see Shauna and Max come back together, too. They're both flawed young people but ultimately seem good and like they could have a real shot. I also enjoyed the realism of injecting SJ into Shauna staying with Martha. A lot of soaps would've just glazed over the reality of that.
It also feels very believable that Courtney and Steven might have some conflict over Evan, without it being melodramatic. No one is acting crazy, but Steven is a parent and Courtney isn't, so they're naturally going to come at scheduling and stuff like that from different angles. Courtney does seem to have a good head on her shoulders, and rather than being a brat, she accepted the invitation to hang with them. Bonding with Evan will only benefit her in the long run, anyway.
The contrast between the two younger couples was interesting. I liked how Lynn took the lead with Elijah and wanting to put aside all the "What if?" fears and just go for it. Meanwhile, Tanner's insecurity and jealousy about Tommy and Jordan makes total sense. And Tommy is a young guy and reacted how a teen would. I have a feeling his driving test might not be smooth sailing, but we'll see.
I respect how level-headed Peter was in dealing with Sean, but I still foresee fireworks down the road from that arrangement!
