Courtney whereabouts are found out.
Martha finds out if she is having a boy or girl.
Peter and Esther talk about the very future of the farm.

Ooh, I love that Esther and Peter are still trying to think of ways to compete with Daniel. Putting their shares together so they are the majority stakeholders makes so much sense; it reminds me of Steffi on B&B. There have been so many scenes with Courtney/Steven/Daniel/Esther, that I am eager for Peter and Daniel to share more screen time. It seems like that could be a popcorn scene! I'm glad Courtney Is home, speaking of her character. Also makes sense that she and Steven would hit the sheets.

Martha is having a boy! I know that's not a huge twist in the story, but I appreciate the smaller moments on soaps like this. They make the family stuff seem more real.

And Louise finally seems ready to end her marriage. It is pretty telling that Sean is missing the holidays, so it seems like the writing is on the wall.

Well with the upcoming story Peter and Daniel will have adequate screen time together. I admit this show has been Steven/Daniel/Esther/Courtney heavy hopefully into the new year that will alter. Steven and Courtney hitting the sheets always seem like their passionate underneath their personalities.

Since this is the first grandson of Peter and Sarah Lynn I knew I wanted to write the scene with Martha finding out along with Sarah. In my mind these scenes our great and realistic too. I want to show that the Saunders family our the equivalent to the Horton's, The Sugden's from Emmerdale, and The Hughes from As The World Turns and other core soap families.

Louise is finally using her common sense in this case to do something she should've done about three years ago. Sean is showing that he doesn't want to spend the holidays with his own wife. Soon we will focus on the fallout all of this in the upcoming episode as well.
