Just catching up on my reading since I was away for a long weekend! This was a nice episode, with the centerpieces being Max and Shauna's date and Lorraine and Evan's departure from Radcliffe.
The date was really sweet, and it was fun to play it from Shauna's wide-eyed perspective. It didn't feel like Max was showing off, even though he kind of was -- he just doesn't know any differently. I appreciated that we cut to Antoine's POV, too, which is a complicated one, and that Mae got used as well. They've probably had the least to do of all the regular cast, so I like that we're spending more time with them. Antoine sure isn't going to win over Shauna by sulking, that's for sure.
Evan's goodbyes with the family were cute. I'm sure we will see him again down the road. And the Esther/Daniel tension and conflict are always juicy. They're involved in this perpetual cat-and-mouse game and seem to make worthy rivals.
Good episode!

They're so great on who can one-up each other in terms of business and personal affairs. Good episode! Thanks for your constant support and Readership Michael! [/quote]
