I like how conflicted you have Lorraine being. It's different than the usual motivation of the maniacal ex being hellbent on ruining a new relationship. There really does seem to be a genuine bond and chemistry between her and Steven, which is often how it is with exes. It's easy to slip back into old habits, especially when you aren't trying to make a relationship work. Still hoping her and Daniel's plot doesn't work, but I suspect luck is against Steven/Courtney at the moment.
Max and Shauna have a nice vibe. I like how they're playful and teasing with one another, but not to the point of being mean, and neither is being overly secretive or sensitive about what they want from the situation. It's refreshing for younger characters and bodes well for a longer-term relationship. Tommy, of course, had to storm in there and make everyone a little less comfortable. I'm guessing his first encounter with Daniel is NOT gonna go well, based on what we've seen of his dad so far...
I'm glad Sarah Lynn was there for Louise and not judgmental in the moment. The mark of a good parent is being able to save those opinions for later. That's not what Louise needs now.
Good episode, Bre!

Second episode for Tommy and I'm already enjoying him ... Someone, or something, had to light a fire under Max to ask Shauna out. I know it seemed like he was about to before Tommy arrived, but the fact that Tommy told him to ask her out and he did was nice. It's great that as brothers they have that type of relationship where they take each other's advice. I'm curious to see how well this date goes!
Oh Louise! All these tears she's crying ... in some ways it's hard to have sympathy for her because she has allowed herself and her husband to be in an open relationship. You can't really claim the "poor me" card when you agreed to let your husband fool around with others. I suppose she never thought that he would end up having some kind of a relationship with Tricia, but still. I am glad that she is, at least for now, filing for divorce.
Like Michael, I like that Lorraine is torn about this scheme. It makes her much more human than a one note villain. I also think the bond between her and Steven is very real; when two people have a child together, they are bonded together forever, especially when the child is in crisis (this case, the stomach flu).
Great read, Bre! Dallas
