On This Episode Of Town and Country

Martha makes one step forward towards her future.
Lorraine makes her decision.
Max pays a visit to someone.

Oooh, I had a feeling Lorraine would take Daniel's offer, but what a tangled mess. Steven and Courtney have this whole Legion of Doom working against them, lol. I'm very curious to see how Courtney's trip will factor into all this. Looks like the time is right for Lorraine to make her move...

I didn't expect Martha to get a job at the bar, but I liked that turn! Good for her for taking some steps to establish a life for herself and her child. I was kind of cracking up at everyone walking in and reacting to her being behind the bar.

I liked that Daniel was at least receptive to Max's pursuit of photography. It keeps him from being a cartoon baddie, even if he's very rigid in his views.

And the preview tease that a new character shows up in the next episode has me intrigued! I don't have a clue who it might be or what s/he will be connected to.

After reading the fall preview, I knew Lorraine was going to accept Daniel’s offer but it was still great to see her internal struggle. With Courtney away, this is the perfect set up for Daniels plan. I’m loving this story!

I also like how Daniel was seeming receptive to Max taking pictures. I could have seen that going in the other direction, I really love this Max - Shauna relationship too. It feels like there’s a lot to explore

Lorraine is only doing this so she can finally get her chance of the spotlight she desperate worked hard for years to achieve, however she never gotten the right opportunity to do so. She still has some feelings for Steven and is using that to channel her actions. For now Courtney is going to be off screen until she gets back. But her presence will be felt during this storyline too.

I knew that I wanted Martha to become more self-sufficient for not only own her own sake but for her unborn child as well. I didn't realize how funny it was for everyone reacting to her working behind the bar until now. Besides I want to establish The Waterfall, as the hub of the series since in my opinion that the farm is the heart of the serial.

I knew that it would've been typical if Daniel argued with Max about it. But personally I think that he is hoping that the business will fail and will have no choice but to come work for the family business.

I knew that Lorraine isn't normally a person who schemes so I wanted to explore her internal struggle with this offer. And I'm glad you're liking this story.

I found it would've been predictable if Daniel stuck to type and would be aghast at Max so that's why I chose to do the opposite. Besides like I told Michael above, Daniel thinks his photography business is not going to become successful so he will eventually come work at the family company. Shauna and Max is fun for me to write because it explores Shauna's dreams of being pursued by a different guy for a change and not to mention he comes from a wealthy family. Max, on the other hand finds Shauna attractive and unlike the women he encountered and dated before. So it is going to be a great time writing for them and Antoine.
