Steven and Courtney have a romantic evening.

Oooh, I didn't expect Daniel to go to Lorraine. Interesting twist. He knew exactly what to say to get her to consider participating, too. I liked how you contrasted that with the scenes of Steven and Courtney's date and sleeping together for the first time.

I'm sure Shauna will wind up with some reason to mistrust Max in the future, given that he's a Covington, but I like that she's excited about it for now and isn't willing to settle for Antoine just because he's there. She and Antoine do seem to have real chemistry, though -- it feels like that goes beyond friendship and has a physical component, which makes me wonder why she *wouldn't* give things a real go with him. I know that she wants to broaden her horizons and not "settle," but there is clearly something significant between them.

I also found it interesting how Louise ran to Daniel in the last episode. That was unexpected, but I think it reveals a lot about what her subconscious is feeling, even if she won't quite admit it on the surface!

Hey Michael, Thanks for checking in with the past two episodes. I been had this idea of this twist planned about two years ago. I wanted to showcase Daniel as a man with who is willing to do anything albeit morally wrong when it comes to his family and his company. Lorraine is definitely interested in participating. Originally, I had in my original story bible that Steven & Courtney were going to sleep each other much later. Nonetheless, I think with this plan going forward their connection will be stronger now.

Right now, Max is the more laidback Covington male, However, who knows what the future holds if he can be trusted or not? Shauna wants escapism from her working class life and the son of a wealthy man is her ticket. Although, despite the hot chemistry between Antoine and herself she knows that he cannot commit long-term due to history with being involved with several girls. She is protecting her heart and her pride at this time. I think she is afraid that if she chooses Antoine then she will be stuck living above a bar for the rest of her life due to Antoine's current lack of ambition.

I knew that Louise had to go to somebody to talk this out and can be objective. She is not exactly close with her sister and she knew that her mother would be like a dog with a bone trying to find out why she is having problems in her marriage. You'll see Louise gaining more confidence to see what is underneath soon enough.

It was about time that Steven & Courtney hit the sheets! I've kept wondering if they had been sleeping together and we didn't see it on screens ... but all these feelings they have for one another, it didn't seem official until now, if that makes sense. I'm glad that they finally took this step.

I didn't expect Daniel to go to Lorraine, although it makes perfect sense looking back. It is still a tug of war for power between Daniel and Esther and it seems like they will stop at nothing to "win". I can't wait to see how this unfolds, you've done such a great job setting this up as a pretty big umbrella storyline.

Originally in my story bible, Steven & Courtney were going to sleep with each other later down the road. However, it makes more sense if they consummated their relationship with the storyline coming up. And now I'm glad they did it and it seems that the two of them enjoyed it too.

Both Daniel & Esther our both determined to get what they want even if they have to use people to get it. This will definitely be a pretty big umbrella storyline coming up within the weeks.
