Good episode! I like how things are kind of branching out -- now we're spending more time with the teens, we get to see stuff from Lorraine's POV, etc. I'll be curious as to the tone of the discussion between her and Courtney. Neither one of them has really done anything to the other, but I wonder if emotions will take precedence over logic there. Sounds like Lorraine might wind up settling longer-term in Radcliffe, based on what's going on with her career, which will only complicate things, though it'd be good for Steven to be more a part of his son's life.

The game between Esther and Daniel continues to be entertaining. I like how they're always attempting to outmaneuver and one-up each other.

It would probably be best for Sean and Louise to be honest with their daughters at this point, because the kids only have half the story and it's causing even more turmoil. Though it seems like Louise's pride might stand in the way of that.

Thanks for reading Michael ! knew that some of the other stories such as Esther/Daniel/Steven/Courtney and Martha's impending single motherhood storyline have been on the front burner more, so I decided to scale it back this episode. Besides I wanted to show the twins living their own lives in spite of their familial issues going on. In the next episode we'll discover what will be said between the former Mrs. Sullivan and Courtney. Lorraine will also stay in Radcliffe for a little while longer which will affect Courtney and Steven as a couple. Steven is going to cherish his time with his little boy while he is still in town.

When you think about it Esther and Daniel share similarities , especially involving protecting their family just about at all costs. I'm liking their rivalry too.

You might be right regarding to Louise's pride might be in the way of that. Nonetheless, I think that both of them still see their daughters as younger children even though in two years they will be out of the house and off to live their own lives away from them.

The cat and mouse with Esther & Daniel is so fun. I literally have no idea what the next move is on either of their parts but it is entertaining to see them in this chess game.

The chess game between Esther & Daniel is so much fun to write. It also keeps me on my toes regarding where I want to take this storyline/characters involved in this arc too.

Like Michael said, I’m thinking Lorraine is setting up camp for the long haul. Which could cause drama with Steven and Courtney. Their chat should be interesting .

Perhaps Michael and yourself is right about Lorraine sticking on the canvas a little longer. And no doubt about her causing dram between Steven and Courtney.

I sense Lynn could go down a dark path if her parents aren’t honest with her. It’s gross to know think of your parents as sexual beings but it is better than lying.

Lynn is one of my favorite characters/teens to write because she isn't afraid to say what is on her mind and she still is under the impression that her mother is the hurt party instead of the co-conspirator of the agreement both of her parents made regarding him continuing to see his mistress. Also like I told Michael and what he commented too. Louise might have a problem or two regarding telling the twins the truth because that will mean that the playing field in terms of the deceit is now leveled out in a way.
